Default which hatch to get

Well I am selling my integra gsr to get a cheap 92+hatch. I want to know what is the best model/year to swap a b18c1 into. I am not too familiar with hatchbacks I need to know which model comes vtec because I know there is an issue with wiring the engine harness if it is a non vtec model. Thanks, jeff

As far as I know the '92's are the lightest out of the series. And the VX (I think) also is the lightest or the CX maybe is the lightest out of the '92 series.

I believe the VX was always the lightest, someone correct me if im wrong, i read or heard somewhere that all '92's were wired for VTEC, but dont quote me on it...yeah lightest to heaviest:

VX
CX
DX
Si

i thought 92+ civics are pre-wired for v-tec? i'd go with the cx, lightest out of the bunch.

if the hatch you get is a cx,or a dx....which aren't wired for VTEC,all you need is a Si/Ex harness.
