limp mode
my car is in limp mode and is throwing code 16 which is for the injectors. my car seems to be running really hot, will that cause it to go into limp mode? any help would be good. thanks
limp mode on a nonOBD car?!? wow i didnt even think the ECU would do that, one of you injectors might be soo gone it's not even firing, causing it to seen like a limp mode

Dude, what are you talking about??? This is the second bonk post in a row I've seen from you... stop posting nonsense
Of course obd0 ecu's have limp mode. Your injectors or wiring need to be checked. You are probably overheating from massive detonation caused by a lack of fuel. I suggest you go see your mechanic immediately or start saving for a swap/replacement motor...

I wish you guys would stop saying nonOBD. That is WRONG. The car is OBD0. All 84+ PGMFI Hondas (at least Civics) have ON BOARD DIAGNOSTICS (OBD). The 0 is just a version number (like v0.2, etc).

'officially' there isnt an OBD designation for 88-91 hondas.
Honda came out with OBD1 and for simplicity sake, people attached the
OBDO, nonOBD, preOBD designations to indicate that its 88-91 ECU/car.
any hardcore ECU gurus out here to back this up.
i am running obd1 injectors w/o resistor box. currently it seems to be fixed. no check engine light. the car is running great. as soon as i took out the thermostat the car seemed to run fine. i just need to go get a new one. the car doesnt seem to run as hot now with it removed. dont knowits weird. anyways as for now i guess im good. i will let everyone know as the wek progresses. thanks
