Turbo nipple to vacuum source?
Should the hoses connected to the turbo be connected to the vacuum source? I have heard somewhere of guys doing this? or maybe i am getting confused with a wastegate. I think the hose is called the actuator hose and runs from exhaust side fo turbo to compressor side. At the moment i have just chopped the stock tube and placed a manual boost controller in there. I have heard these can cause boost spikes so I was going to remove the boost controller then put a new hose back in the stock position and keep the controlled from the wastegate that came with the turbo? Any suggestions?
Thanks

It should be from the wastegate actuator to the compressor housing.
Just leave the MBC on, in the off position turned right down. There alright what brand is it? I use one and like it, Turbosmart

it was one from ebay.... it is turned right down it also claims not to cause boost spikes. so does my turbo need to have a vacuum source connected to it?
no vacuum source for your turbo, you'll be fine with a MBC using whatever PRESSURE source you choose, be it manifold pressure or the nipple on the turbo. It's A-Ok
The best source is the back of your intake manifold. There will be pressure drop between the turbo and intake manifold. In fact, TurboXS says this in their directions for their boost controllers.
does anyone knwo where i can find soem online instructions to that boost controller? im interested to know which bit they connect to what... thanks
If I still had my instructions, I would scan them for you, but I don't know where they are. Ask some people if they can do that for you. If not, try the TurboXS website, or even email TurboXS. I am sure they would hook you up with the instructions.
