Do some research 1st. Custom is the way to go if you know your power goals and tuning options. If not then buy a kit. There are many kits Drag, Fmax, Greddy, RevHard. Just do some research and youll be happier in the long run.

1.)What are your goals, Horsepower and 1/4 time ?
2.)Is there any modifications to the bottom end or Cyl head ?
I would say if you are keeping everything stock i would do a Sc34 from Precision. You'll get pretty decent spool up rate and make at least 250+whp with proper fuel and tuning setup.
If you are modifying the bottom end and cyl head to support a higher rev limit such as 7500-8000Rpm i would do a Sc61 From Precision.
I am looking to go low 13's or high 12's with a turbo.
I'm going to do rods, pistons, big cams, and port and polished,
All this in a ls/Civic
