Default Broken Timing belt in B17a? Did it bend the valves?

Hello all, I was wondering if you guys know if when the timing belt breaks on the B17a1 if it bends the valves like it does on some motors?

threw a timing belt on my b16a and didn't bend any valves, as far as i know it does not do any damage, but i could be wrong

if a valve is open yes it will. my timing belt broke and my motor is a interference motor but all the valves were closed i got luckey.

just do a compression test, and find out, no biggy, I've been lucky twice so far
