Timing belt slip/valves bent?
I have a h2b swapped dc2, and I noticed my timing belt started to get eatin up, because my timing belt was sliding off to the right, because I guess my water pump was going out a friend told me. Well I tried driving her home, and the motor just shut off when i was around about 2500 rpms and i checked and the timing belt slipped off, and I was wondering if h22's are interference motors and if i bent my valves. All the motor did was shut completely off, and I didn't hear no clanky noise, so I wonder if my valves are still good. Anyone had this happen to them? Should I throw on a new timing belt and do a compression check, or just take the head off and do a leak down test? I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Re: Timing belt slip/valves bent? (DC2_ALL MOTA)
Leak down test is the best way to determine how well your valves are sealing. This is done with the head on the engine.
