Default Car is still bogging out like crazy, B18C1 ....please help me!

Like the title says, the car has been bogging really bad. It always happens at 2500 RPM when just crusing at low speed, esp. in 1st and 2nd gear. I dont know what it is , the fuel pressure is fine, changed the pump and filter, plugs, oil, etc...everything is good to go. I dont know why it is bogging, the car hesitates and just sits there , backfires then goes. Ill check the timing on Monday but I dont think that is it. The car is a 94 CX with a 98 B18C1 swap.

my car did the same thing! My car would occasionally throw code 10, which is the IAT sensor, try replacing that and see what happens.

if it isnt the timming, check it for compression. may have a burned or bent valve if it is popping like that.

My CEL is not on though, can it still be throwing a code even if the CEL isnt on? Should I run a diagnostics test on it? The car doesnt only bog but it is SO much slower and barely moves at half throttle, this sucks :-(

i changed it to a CTR pump. Regardless, it still had theses effects before and after the new pump... I also did a full tune up on the car a month ago. The car was running AWESOME and sooo fast and smooth when i bought it a month ago, then it started doing this nonsense.....

mine does the same thing. i describe it as more of a miss. like all the cylinders arent firing. i can floor it when this happens and nothing changes. it just sputters.

its so erratic though that i cant find out whats up. it could be months or days between its occurences

Also, my car has a 6A MSD box, the guy who sold me the car said it is sorta old, and the problem might lay in the box...I might just take the box out, damn wires confuse me though

matt this doesnt help me....my problem is different........:I havent touched the timing on my jdmb18c1. Rpm put in a new belt with pumps at swap time......the motor ran like a Gem for a full year.....Then recently, I took it to the track and we experienced some sputtering on the way(before we got there). I bought new plugs which are pre-gapped from acura(at the dealer-oem)......and when I pulled them....the plugs and bottom of the spark plug boots we're covered in oil. I did the required valve cover gasket(cause thats what that is-the grommets were there problems) repair. Motor seemed to run harder than ever for like 2 days until the sputtering AGAIN at 2000-3500 rpm's.............I was beside myself......I have changed the wires and the plugs twice(my 1st set got drenched in oil before I repaired the valve cover gasket set).........the dist. rotor and cap are soooo clean.....No Red dust .....just dust from packin' 30,000 miles on the motor. It stops bogging and sputtering after I floor it.......How do I stop this........it ran great for so long.....and the valve cover gasket was prolly never the MAIN problem all along!!! I had my racing mechanic/pal look at my car.....he diagnosed the distributor and wires to ensure they were getting a pulse he said they were and that it was most likely an ignition problem. I have received no codes......I only wish I did!!! Could this be an ECU Problem.........(should I get a usdm 0bd21 ecu or a jdm?) thanks for ANY help......Im really confused.
