Hesitation problem..Can't figure it out.
My car been experiencing hesitation for the past couple of week or so. The car would drive fine when started, but will start to hesitate upon warming up at around 2,800-3,300 rpm. It as if when I'm accelerating, something is pulling the car back and then would jump back into acceleration after it pass the 3,300 rpm. The only Cel light I'm having is a secondary o2 sensor due to a aftermarket cat. I searched and people say that a secondary o2 code does not hurt the performance or does it? The car idle fine at around 750 and something 800, still pull as hard after it passes the 3,300 rpm mark, spark plugs look good, new rotor-cap, and fuel filter. Could it be that the timing is off somehow? It so annoying when driving in the highway....someone help a brother out.
Iiight bro I shall check that out tomorrow when I get a chance. But I'm curious as how could my timing went off if it is indeed my timing..oh well.
How's your air filter, and also what kind of transmission do you have? I would also look at that(fluid levels).
The key is patience and process of elimination.
