my current set-up is a JDM b16a w/ DC Sports SS 4:2:1 header, high-flow cat, skunk2 exhaust, no A/C, P/S converted to manual, and a 35-shot NX wet system. Starting January i will be piecing together a turbo kit with HP goals of 350WHP eventually as a daily driver. I am going to get a fuel pressure regulator from Aeromotive and wanted to know which of theirs is best for my application and future plans.

BTW, I already have a Walbro 255 fuel in-tank pump.

Which would be better for me- the Compact EFI Regulator (P/N 13105) or the A1000-6 Injected Bypass Regulator (P/N 13109)?

Also, what does the injected in Injected Bypass Regulator mean?

I've used both p/n 13109 and 13101 with great results. But Aeromotive has a new Honda/Acura specific regulator that bolts to the fuel rail exactly like the oem regulator. Mista Bone is using one of them I believe.

I'm gonna try one of those on my next project, it should help decrese the effort in plumbing that 13109 and 13101 require.

Yes, it should bolt to an OEM rail.

 

I'm getting the 13109 (which is what I've found that people with Aeromotive usually have) talk to Flamenco-T about the FPR and a fitting that could be used to put it one the fuel rail (I'm pretty sure he has it, but not positive).

For Avatar setup, I set him up with Aeromotive 13109 ( high pressure ) and bolted directly to the fuel rail. I do have all adapters..

Let me see if I can find some pics when I had the rail setup in my car..

anyone have any more info on the "new" aeromotive fpr that are supposedly honda/acura specific? What makes it different than the others? i don't see it on their site.


EDIT: the only basic difference between the 13109 or the 13101 and the "new" honda-specific FPR is that the new one (p/n 13116 for 1.6L or 13115 for 2.3L) can bolt onto the stock fuel rail.

also, aeromotive offers a compact EFI FPR (p/n 13105). This differs from the others in that it only has 1 inlet port and 1 return. The A 1000-6 has 2 inlets and 1 return, allowing for easier addition of a 2nd fuel rail with more injectors.

there is also no difference between what aeromotive calls a "injected bypass regulator" and a "adjustable fuel pressure regulator". They are all fuel pressure regulators, they just use the word "injected" to signify that its for EFI cars.

hope al the info is correct and understandable. thats what i got from Aeromotive on the phone.

i was wondering which one i should get as well. the one posted up above that is acura honda specific and bolts directly to the stock honda fuel rail, is it any different performance wise than the one i alwasy see everyone else with that has theirs mounted o the fire wall with SS lines going to it from a after market fuel rail?

also where can i purchase aeromotive FPR's?

Back from the dead. Anybody know about the Honda specific Aeromotive FPR?

 

Back up again.

Does the aeromotive that bolts directly to the rail still exist? It isn't listed on aeromotives web page and I haven't found it at any of the online stores.
