im going to do a compression test on my recently swapped gsr...
i was wondering what the compression is for a stock gsr so that i can compare?

yes i used the search and found nothing except for modified gsr's compression results...

190-210 should be good across the board.

 

Just do the compression test and there shouldn't be any drastic change from the #'s you get in each cylinder. It shouldn't be +/- 20 from each other. Should be around 200 though, there's really no exact number.

 

dang...numbers are varying...
i did some search on other forums and stuff..
ive got numbers from 170 to like 220...
i dont know whos right or whos wrong...
i guess ill do the compression test and see if you guys think its ok...

 

yea..its a USDM 01 motor with about 16k miles but the guy who had it originally beat on it...so thats why im checking the compression...thanks guys...

hmm..just did a compression test this weekend...
according to the numbers u guys have put up...i have a pretty low compression...
ive got ~170, 180, 180, 180
not sure what i can do to bump it up...
