I've tried unplugging it and give 12v to the red wire and ground the black wire and nothing will turn on. anyone one else have this happen to them?

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead but i think this happend to me today.. Im driving around and all of a sudden i get a CEL.. I wonder what it could be? I look down and my Fields VAFC is off.. Shut the car off.. turned it back on.. nothing..

Played with the on/off switch.. still nothing.. I hope its not dead but i will find out tomorrow..

 

Fields suck, I had to replace mine with a VAFC.

 

yea fields are know to just die... kinda sucks. Might wanna try uberdata.

 

DAMN IT!!! I hate unexplainable failure of electronics. Now i have to resolder my harness back to normal... What a waste.. It was fun while it lasted.. lol

 

yes it happen a lot, I think that why they are cheap and they stop making it( i think)
