Default n00b q about coolant

my car started running low on coolant...if i just bought some Schucks kind to keep me going temporarily, am I supposed to mix THAT with 50/50 water too? Or do I just pour it in straight?

And can someone how the radiator works wit the coolant reservoir?

I'm so lost

If you bought pre-mixed coolant then you wont have to mix. If you bought concentrated fluid then you should mix 50/50 with distilled water. Also, make sure you use the green coolant and not the orange GM stuff.

plus, make sure when u measure the engine is cooled down, so you know exactly how much coolant you need to add ....

dont use cheap collant brands unless you plan on flushing out your coolant system as soon as you get the chance to.

I do tranny fluid about every 15 thousand miles and brake fluid when i change the pads. I'm sure plenty of people do it more often though.
