gauge help!
i have a 93 vtec lude and i'm installing 2 gauges and it calls for the ignition switch wire...what does this wire look like? and where is it? Also whats a good dash lighting power wire to tap off of?
Ignition wire is that black/yellow stripe wire under the steering wheel. It's inside one of the plastic looms along with some other wires, so you'll have to cut the plastic looms to look for it. just probe and make sure it goes hot when the ignition is on.
Depending on where you're mounting the guages and if they have a dimming wire, but there is a bulb that is inside the ashtray in the console, and you can tap into that wire for lights.

check this out for the total repair manual, you might be able to use it to answer your questions. if not at least you'll be able to use it sometime in the future.

can someone verify where the oil sending unit is, is it directly above or directly below the oil filter?
