Default 92 vx vtec-e problems... common?...solutions?

I was wondering if anyone knows of or has had problems with their vtec-e in their car. The problem I am having is, it seems where the vtec crossover is (2500 rpm'ish) is that where vtec-e engages? It seems that I have a power loss and the engine boggs and sputters. I posted earlier about this problem but I still cant solve it. Its really starting to **** me off, its just so annoying. Like i said it my prevous post, when I unplug the vtec solenoid i throw a code but the motor doesnt show the symptoms. Is the solenoid bad? OR.... what else is associated with that solenoid or vtec-e in general that I can check?

here was my first post

thanks

I have not replaced any vacuum lines and it doesnt leak oil... this is what i've replaced so far and it has not solved the problem:

Plugs
Rotor
Cap
Ignition coil
Fuel Filter

i have no clue any more
