Spoon 1.8 Kit
Anyone had any experiences on it? I was looking at it for a friend who i was helping with a b16. It looks like a nice setup, and for the price, it seems a good deal.
I just want to know if anyone has any experiences with it. TIA...

I take it the Rods arent different? I figured it was mostly stock parts, but the compression ratio is raised, and so is the stroke.
The differences in the b16b and b16a bottom ends cannot be so different that you cant use the kit on the b16a.

The actual block is different height wise.

what?
you CANNOT use the kit on a b16a.
tell yer bud to find a b18 block.
if he DOES have a b16b block..i believe it's way cheaper to get an itr or gsr crank, itr or gsr rods, and either ctr or jdm itr pistons.
spoon itr stuff is just rebalanced by spoon, then repackaged. oem itr stuff is pretty damn good from the factory so why get robbed. if yer gonna spend that much money, i'd get an itr crank, aftermarket I beam ultralight rods, and cp pistons.
