How do i take the e-brake handle off my 93 civic ex?

Remove center console, loosen the bolts. Remove the e-brake bracket, and remove the e-brake.

Are you talking about just the plastic cover? It comes off, but it's a bitch. Just have to keep working on it.

if youre talking about the rubber surround then i had to saw mine off to fit my momo handle

pull as hard as you can while twisting back and forth, should only take like a minute, at first it barely moves, but eventually it frees up and pops right out

that damn handle is a big PIA! i just took a dremel to it and split it down the middle, peeled it off. my stunna e-brake handle covers the plastic thats gone now

use a pair of vise grips...tighten it down on the metal behind the plastic peace....get a mallet or soft hammer, and hit the vise grips towards the front of the car...keep hitting it and it will come off! better then sawing!!! give it some good wacks!

yeah my vote goes to splitting it also, I read all these super secrest ways of getting it off. Using a towel and vise grips. I ended up just splitting it with a razor knife.

that worked for me i was parting a car and thats how i got it off
