People who has tried to remove em know what i am talking about.
Anyone suceed w/o breaking something off ?

umm... the screws under the rectangular trim piece are for removing the center console. you cant get it off otherwise

i definatly can't get em off. almost smoked my drill on em....

yea under that small plastic rectangle piece, to install my shift boot i needed to take those off (or try to) to get the front piece to come up.... you should be fine pat

Definitly, and make sure it has a decent sized handle you can get a good grip on, one of the softer rubber ones would work best.

if your talking about the 2 gold philips screws under the little rectangular cover under the hand brake...no..nothing will be affected....its just a cover...it has nothing to do with your brakes..

wtf are u talking about....those screws you are talking about is a 12mm...and its not under the hand brake..its behind it....and too add its one 12mm not 2...

I've done it many times. If you are having issues with them I would recommend an impact driver with phillips head attachment.
