Default Replacing the Throw out Bearing

Hey guys, how do i change the throw out bearing? i got a new clutch and pressure plate, and a new throwout bearing, but im wondering where it goes. if anyone has any pics or write-ups for clutch replacement that would be great. thanks

where do you think it goes.... you have to seperate the engine and transmission - not really that hard, but a very involved process. if you want to do it yourself i suggest you get a helms manual. if you dont know what your doing, you would be much better off letting someone else do it.

It's on the actuating arm. and it rests agains the spring part of the clutch basket. You can't miss it.

so then it is noticable when i take the clutch off? im getting a helms tomorrow, i was just trying to get some insite before hand. anyone have any pictures?

When you separate the tranny from the engine, it will rest around the spindle that goes into your clutch disk! It's a good thing to replace when installing a new clutch/flywheel.... So good job! When re-installing, be sure to put a minimum amount of grease/lube around the inner portion of the bearing that rests on the spindle, This will ease it's break in!

clutch needs to be broken in. just do normal driving (no drag launches) for a few hundred miles.
