Default how do you drop your cars so low?

I see a lot of really low civics on here. Mine is dropped pretty good on 16s but it wont tuck any tire. i think im riding on bumpstops cause my ride gets kinda bouncy sometimes. i see everyones car on here that have their tires tucking, do you guys even keep your bumpstops?? or do you remove them? how do you prevent the strut from bottoming out with the shock tower?

Did you cut your bumpstops in half?

Yes we have bumpstops and they need to be cut if lowering past say 2 inches for sure. Doesn't hurt to cut them anyway when lowering.

No springs haha

ok well **** i saw a new reply so, i found this helps abit take you seleve that it came with and flip it up side down (im talking about the red thing) this allows you to sit on the perch of the strut. and do that same with the back it does make a difference its about .5 to 1 inch but it is lower also check out that link in the above post it is really good, and you can buy a rear set of struts for an EF hatch (i think) and they are like 1 inch shorter then eg's rear struts if you do some searching you will find abunch of info on this

Im on Neuspeed Race springs and Koni yellows ::: wit 15s its a clean very low drop ::: im considering going up to 16s so i can have enough room to daily drive with tha mugen knock-off CF lip i picked up ::: if you want tire tuck y not look and see if anyone still has the sprint extremes still

They're stiff, but it won't kill you. I had Neuspeed Sport springs before and the ride is much better with the RS*Rs. I'm not sure how to define "nice", though. It's quite stiff, but not terribly harsh. You can tell you have springs. I don't know how to explain it, I'm tired.

How do u guys find the ride on coils? I've found that coils ride kinda bouncy, almost bus like....maybe it's just the brand of coilovers.

Are you using the stock shocks? Any springs using stock shocks bounce. If not, check your spring rates they may be too little or the springs MAY have weakened over time.
