Default Power to Manual steering... anyone try it?

Well... it seems that after 219k miles the power steering on my 91 EX has taken a **** on me. The P/S goes in and out and the pump is making a lot of noise.

I was given a 91 CRX Si steering rack, and I was curious to know if that would work. It seems to be similar enough to work, but I don't know for sure.

Anyone ever try it? Is it worth it?

trade it for a pump.. why go through all the work for something thats not even gonna be better.. or just take the belt off the pump.. there is manual steering.
