Okay so i have an h22a4....and at the beginniing of every gear it bogs for a lil second..then takes off and screams....idles fine...but just like when you take off in 1st...or just mash it in 4th...or 3rd...itll bog then take off and scream. i had a similar problem with an integra i had recently bought as my beater. When i test drove the car, it bogged when I mashed on it. I checked out the plugs and wires and found that one of the plug wires was bad. It turns out i was only running 3 out of 4 cylinders, so it would bog when i was over 3000 rpm. I changed the wires and BAM! Good as new

sounds to me like your problem is fuel/fuel supply related. are you getting any engine codes?

7) TP Sensor (Throttle Position)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

12) EGR Lift Sensor (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

these codes are for prelude motors 85-98

here is a helpful link for ecu codes

I doubt it's your wires,
have you pulled them and looked at them?
