Default fuel problem??

I have a jdm B18C in my 97 civic sedan. It ran perfect for the last two months, now its blowing black smoke out the exhaust after I adjusted the idle, it started doing it. Also it feels like its missing too. I took out the spark plugs and they had carbon build up on all four of them so I changed them and put new ones in. Still blowing black smoke. Bad fuel pressure regulator? Its the oem for the itr. Any help or info would be appreciated.
