Default Boost or N/A with NOS

im debatin on which one i should go with...i know the boost is better but is it that much more reliable after its boosted...only thing i dont like about Nos is the power isnt always there like boost but its still civilized unlike the boosted car...my car is pushin 140k..98 accord lx auto tranny....so i know imma replace the engine but imma stick with the f23 and auto...so which one is a better way to go...i figure a turbo kit is like 2g's+ while the NOS is at most 600...but the boost will pay off later cuz 5-10 bucks a lb on NOS is a lot...its gonna add up... MONEY FACTORS into my decision a lot...only 19...my pay sucks but im spendin every penny on my car...also which one would be faster....boosted with 7-8 psi or N/A with 75 shot...whats the estimated e.t....15???...14???

if money is a major factor, DONT DO ANYTHING.

situation A) you got a used turbo kit, 2600 shipped to your door, 500 buck for a shop to install it, two week later your piston rings melted and come straight out of your muffler due to pre. ignition.
resort A)new engine

situation b) you got a used wet zex kit, after adding colder plug, PFR, refill-500 bucks, after two week you were racing the local rice boy, you hit the switch and WOT, PING PING PING, boom
a)new engine

thing is i know the results but im trying to back myself up..i got some accord piston with rings off ebay for like 20 bucks and can get a engine for no more than 1g...i make like prolly 2-3 bills a week.....so im willin to take the chance but which one is better...long run wise....im plannin on keepin my car and jus wantin to be able to run with some of the bigger guys....freakin cars are so fast now a days...not tryin to get blown out the water by a srt-4....althought it will happen, jus wantin to keep up....17-18 sec is soooo slow.

my car detonated like crazy with no intercooler. you would have to drop timing a bunch.

would not be worth it.

I have a turbo 01 accord auto and the tranny is holding perfectly. I only drive around town at .3bar, but it's still a lot more power than stock. I turn it up to .5 for fun and it still feels strong and reliable. Just get a tranny cooler and don't beat up on the car so much and it'll treat you well.
