code 14 (IAC) sensor question.

help code 14, cant take it to the ref
Ive searched.....
car:92 cx
motor: 95 usdm b18c1
im using a gsr engine harness and p72 ecu.
when i checked for codes today using a paper clip, im getting code 14. but when i remove the paper clip, i have no CEL. my car idles fine and runs good. what can cause this? by the way im using an IAC from a 2000 civic si and the bolt paterns are different, the IAC is held by only one bolt. do i have to move any pins form the ecu harness. help me im taking my car to the ref.
