Default DFI Qustions.. What do I need and what don't i need

Currenly I'm running stock wire harness with MSD, and Skunk 2 ECU on a all motor crx race only on 110 76 leaded full (310 RC Injectors). I want to switch over to run dfi gen 7. What do I need to run dfi as in MSD and ecu and injector size. I want to be able to tune the car more as in fuel. Waht are your sugestions. A good parts list would be good.

you can make your own adapter harness to plug and play into your CRX ecu harness. You dont need an MSD to run it, you can fire stock ignitor. Ralphy at DRT also makes harness adapters for the gen 7 DFI to convert to OBD2, this is much simpler when running a racecar and using an Si or EX 96+ wire harness since it comes with ECU plugs.

Just curious why go witht he DFI gen 7 (as opposed to AEM gen 30-1000 with OBD0-OBD1 harness adapter) ?

No way in hell do you ever want to go to Harv for getting your car dynoed. There are so many other tuners in southern cali that can tune dfi. Darren at R&D is alot more efficient then Harv.

If you do go with the dfi, you will no longer need to run your ecu, your msd should be fine dfi. when I went with dfi I stepped up my msd from a 6al to the Digital 7 plus. And i definately recommend the dfi system it is one of the best out there and I know alot of people on here prefer hondata or aem but dfi is a great system to use, it's all about the tuning.
