E-manage ignition harness need help
has anyone used the E-manage unit to control their timing?
looking through the diagrams and the booklets im pretty sure i have it figured out. all i do is use channels 1 and 2 on the harness, the cut the icm wire out of the ecu. then i attach channel one to the wire to the icm and channel 2 to the ecu.
can anyone confirm this?
its going into a 99 civic ex. i have the e-manage already wired in and i have the profect E-01 installed as well. should be running 12-15psi on an Fmax turbo kit with RC 370 injectors but i need this spark control figured out so i don;t need an MSD BTM.
thanks

Re: E-manage ignition harness need help (bmcc72)
there is one wire to intercept the signal that goes into the emanage and one wire that goes out to the ecu. You will only be using one channel. Make sure you read the manual and have the correct jumper settings for the honda, in the ignition settings section

all you will use is channel one in and channel one out but on the eg vehicles, it has to ignition signals that need to be connected together into channel one in/out. Look at this link. http://www.mohdparts.com/emana...4.JPG
