is this possible? what would need to be done to get this done?

there are some stroker kits that'll bring you to that. go to google, and search "b16 stroker". should give u a bunch of info.

i searched for you: the kits i found on google were all either 1.8 or 2.0, so u might have to decide from those. http://www.motormatrix.com/crowstrokkit.html go there

b16 and b17's have the same block, however the b17 has a bit more stroke.... so if you were to run 84mm sleeves with the b17 crank you would yield 1.9L(considering that when you run 84mm on 1.8L blocks will give you 2.0L)

im not sure but i think b19coupe( sorry dont really remember the real SN) here on H-T has done it i believe.. correct me here..

i too thought of doing this to boost... cause b16a blocks are a dime in a dozen
