gear grinding...is this the problem

recently my 2nd gear has been grinding if i shift over 5k. i also have had the problem that my tranny was leaking oil where the axle meets the tranny on the passenger side. could there be a lack of oil causeing the one gear to grind? i need help

yes..not enough oil would make it grind.. theres a ruber seal where the axle and tranny meets up..u can get a new one..it should prevent it from leaking..dont **** up ur tranny anymore...this is an easy fix..gl

Hopefully. But I agree with the guy above. Replace the seal and put some fresh Honda MTF in there.
