i just got the car running perfect, and then my f***ing cousin decides he's going to install my fuel rail and fpr without me knowing... i mean how hard can it be to install that, but now i have a huge coolant leak somewhere. it sprays out from somewhere when the motor is hot, and i mean it gets all over the place. on top of that the idle that i just got fixed is back up to a consistant 2500. can any of this be related to a faulty fuel rail and fpr install. need lots of opinions. thanks

 

where is the coolant leaking from? behind/underneath the throttle body or intake manifold? Check that area first for any leaks...

 

Maybe your Fast Idle control valve or your Idle Air Control valve is starting to go, that may be your idle problem. As for your coolant leak, be sure to check both of those components because both have coolant going thru them assuming this is a B18C1...
