Coolant leak and IAC... stuttering idle ?'s
I noticed a small coolant leak from the TB area last night. It is enough to reduce my coolant resevouir by 1/4 in a couple days. Could this affect idle stability at all ? My car stutters occasionally in idle, dropping to almost 0 on the tach, but never shuts off, even with the A/C on. (I may have a problem with the IAC, as I was anticipating due to buying an older head) But can the coolant leak affect idle at all ? Sounds like a stupid questions, but you never know...

Donno, but it sounds like a bad head gasket to me.

I am actually changing the HG this weekend, but I thing the IAC may be bad, this head has been sitting, unused for some time now....
