Speratic Idle and no Heat?
Hey guys, this morning I was on my way to work and noticed my Idle jumping from 1k to 1.6k and back down to 1k and repeating. I also noticed my car heated up pretty fast, but didnt overheat, so I tried my heater to see if it was working right. When I turned it on, there was nothing but cold air coming out. Any idea's what the problem might be?
Forgot to mention its on my 95 Prelude VTEC, so its an H22A1.

check the output of your cts. then check to see if the cable on the coolant valve on the firewall popped off and/or if it is moving and/or if both heater hoses are equally hot. could also be your fast idle thermo valve.

Re: Speratic Idle and no Heat? (REDLUDE4WS)
Got it figured out. One of my coolant hoses popped off, and after I put it back on it took a minute to get coolant circulating back through, but the idle is back to normal and the heater is working. Thanks for the help.
