Do i have all the parts necssary for a complete 5spd transmission swap?
Hey..
I'm in the process of swapping out my Automatic b18b transmission (in my '94 integra) for a '95 b18c1 (gsr) hydraulic transmission. I have a list here of all the parts i currently have:
1) '95 GSR tranny
2) GSR clutch/flywheel/fork
3) flywheel bearing
4) throw out bearing
5) OBD 1 P75 ECU
6) Master Cylinder
7) Slave Cylinder and hydraulic lines
8) Shift Linkage
9) Clutch Pedal
10) ITR 5spd starter
11) tranny mounts
12) Nuts and bolts for clutch/flywheel
I also have/am getting a jdm sir-g cluster, shift boot, and civic **** as far as unnecessary parts for the swap.
Is this all i need or am i missing anything?
PS: If anyone has hydraulic lines and/or OEM shift boot for sale, hit me up

You will need to do some wiring to allow the car to start, and also for the reverse lights to work.
Also I'm not sure about Integras, but on Civics the auto tranny frame rail mount is in a slightly different place, requiring the use of a conversion mount from HASport or similar.

I think all i need are the new tranny mounts for the tranny to fit...and i'm taking it to a shop to have the swap done...shouldn't they be able to do all the wiring?

custom mount is a much better idea IMHO than a rewelded one.
And unless the shop has done Honda manual tranny swaps before, I doubt they'll get it right on yours unless they spend alot of time on it, and maybe some trial n error.

well...i found out i DO need wiring harnesses for the tranny.....what am i supposed to get exactly? There's a harness coming out of one side of the tranny, then there's a socket above the starter hole...
Harness on side:
Plug above starter hole (the tall black thing)

That first pic is the reverse light switch.
The second pic is the speed sensor.
Just look for the HASport website, they should have the mount on there.

So basically all i need is a harness for the reverse lights?
can't i just use the ones off the auto tranmssion?
btw...thanks for all the help guys

can someone send me a link to the page with the actual mount i'm looking for? I'm not sure exactly what i'm looking for. Is an ENGINE mount the same thing as a TRANNY mount?

I'm not exactly sure how to wire it. All I know is the reverse light switch and associated wires for auto tranny is under the shifter itself, whereas it's on the tranny if it's manual. I know you have to extend and reroute some wires from inside the car into the engine bay.
I couldn't find the mount on their site either. Try calling up Place Racing... their website is under development so you have to call.

You will also need the gas and brake pedals, the brake pedal is smaller and with the auto pedals they clutch pedal has nowhere to go.
i actually heard the opposite...that it will fit w/ the auto pedal. I looked at it, and it seems like there's space to spare

nooo you don't want to leave the auto brake pedal in there... there might be room for the pedal but your shoe is wider than the clutch pedal and you'll catch it on the edge of the brake pedal, which will not be good.
Thanks for the help...i just ordered a custom top tranny mount from Place Racing and i also bought a manual brake pedal
Got the custom top tranny mount from place racing (HaSport is still developing their mount)
Now that I think of it...DON'T BUY THIS FOR $150!!! JUST BUY AN OEM ONE AND WELD IT!!!

my point is that that's ALOT of money to pay for a chunk of metal that just holds the tranny up. Only reason i bought it is cuz i'm doing my swap beginning of next week and I needed the top mount.
does anyone know if there a company on the web where someone could purchase a whole conversion package?
