I found a deal for 3700 in Nova. I am wondering if I do LS vtec or buy the ITR for 3700.00? Whats better and cheaper

id say the itr swap because of the oem reliability(but thats depending on the condition on that motor),but the ls/vtec would cost less

Yeah true but lS VTEC puts out so much power. The ITR is 3700 w/ the tranny.

if you wanna build the ls/vtec the right way it will cost waaaaay more than 3700. buy the type r swap.

ITR = Good power and OEM reliability

It will take more than the cost of the ITR swap to build an LSVTEC and make it reliable. You'd be much better off with the ITR swap.

there is no replacement for displacement, plus, the b16b is kind of a shitty buy, unless youre a jdm freak, spend the extra 5 hundred

3200 is about the same as a gsr......185 HP reliable OEM Power. Great durable Auto X motor. Spoon runs these motors on their cars.

i would go with the R, just because of reliability issues. Not that a ls/vtec couldnt be properly built an last just as long, but the givien the odds i would go for the R.

do the lsvtec if u want more power
a lsvtec built right will cost about the same and can be faster than an itr
but if i were in you shoes i would get the R because of the price that is not a normal price for a compleat itr swap
they normally go for about 5k
