CLUTCH PROBLEMS! )= <===
hi.. just recently... i've been havin problems with my s2k.. i just got my engine head removed.. and fixed an exhaust leak.. that caused misfire and low compression on my 2nd and 3rd cylinder..
i waited about.. a month and a half to get my car out of the shop for that repair.. and i've been driving it this week.. and all of a sudden.. my clutch starts to feel like its not being as effective.. this happened all after a race.. =I
ne ways.. it felt like when u have to shift gears before.. it was harder to put it into gear.. now i can just lightly put it into gear.. it feels very weak and not as aggressive as before.. does ne one else have the same problems? comments? help?
thanks
p.s. - ne other known issue on s2k's??
i have a 2000 s2000 with 40,700 miles on it.. thanks a lot guys

so you slipped, burned and possibly glazed the clutch during a race, it's overheated and cannot grip worth a damn because you rode it all the way out and now you think you have a problem with the clutch?
just let it cool down and see if it persists or not.

S2000 tranny's are not the best, so I would be careful.
Either a) wait it out and see if there's any difference
b) Check to see if there was some sort of TSB On the clutch for your year
c) Get a new clutch

S2000 trannies are some of the better trannies around!
