h22 wiring question

Default h22 wiring question

what do i wire the yellow plug on the thermostat housing to, i searched already and couldn't find, set up is 94 teg ls obd1 jdm h22 and a 96 gsr wiring harness, also i've converted the distributor wires, injector plugs, added resistor box extended various wires, i've got an extra plug on my passenger shock tower, 3 wires blk/purp that turns into blu/red, red/yel and wht/red. what do i do with this plug? i've searched but haven't found any one with this setup and problem, thanks

The yellow plug goes to the fan switch on the thermostat housing.

If you have the three major plugs plugged into the shock tower harness, then that 4th plug is not needed.

what wires are the fan switch, isn't that the temp sensor to control the fan on the head under the distributor? thanks

fan switch wires? wires that plug into the fan? that should be on the harness in ur car already, u should just stick the fan in and there should be a plug rite there.

That would be the thermo switch on the thermostat. The OBD1 and OBD2 motors have the thermo switch there, so if you are using a 96 GSR harness then the plug should be in the general area, just plug it in.

The temp sensor on the head for the ECU (if I remember correctly). The ECT on the thermostat housing for the cooling fan. The Sensor (at a certain degree (196)) it gives the cooling fan ground. VTECVillain is right. OBD0 ECT is on the block. plug that bad boy in.

i had it pluged into the head but i wasn't sure if it was supposed to plug there or to the yellow pluf on the thermostat housing, thanks guys
