Quick question about timing....

Default Quick question about timing....

Where is the connector you have to use the jumper wire on to set the ignition timing? I have a 91 si, is the connector on the inside of the car down in kick panel? Also is that suppose to be connected to anything?

There is a yellow rubber cap that is on the left rear engine bay. you have to jump a Brown and Green-white terminals with a paper clip or some sort of jumper wire

on the 90-91 models, it is on the passenger side kick panel
inside the car..

I thought that is were it was but it didnt havea yellow cap on it. Is it suppose to be connected to anything?
