Is know its putting a vtec head on a non-vtec block but what blocks will this work with.. I have a 93' civic dx motor(D15B7) and a 92-95 civic si sohc vtec head.. Is this a mini-me.. And even if not will they still work together.. I know I have to do the oil feed line to the head..

 

no u dont need to do any oil lines
all u gotta do its take the oil control jet found between the head and block in one of the oil pasages
other than that its a bolt on.

 

Then how does oil get into the vtec system.. Do I have to drill out the oil ports on the block or something..

the oil pressure goes tru one of the passages
and goes tru the solenoid
the solenid mechanism is the one that actually lets the oil go tru and then run tru the camshafts etc and make vtec kick in
just take the oil control jet off the block
thats it
