Default D16Z6 in 88-91 CRX

Doing a D16Z6 swap into a 2nd generation CRX, can I just use the ECU from the CRX and have it re-done by Zdyne to have VTEC activation instead of throwing in a VTEC controller or the VTEC switch? Wouldn't this lessen the possibilities of having to play with all the wiring? Thanks for any help!

You still have to have wires/connectors for the vtec solenoid and pressure switch. Is there an ecu you can PLUG IN to a 91 crx harness that has vtec control?JDM?

I'm not sure if there is a JDM ECU that will plug directly into the harness. I was just hoping to get the ECU converted by Zdyne, to avoid all the extra wiring and the VTEC controller. Check http://www.zdyne.com and tell me what you think? According to them, the factory CRX ECU can be reprogrammed to have VTEC activation, but then again, I'm not a pro so I don't know.

seems pretty legit- one wire is for vtec solenoid- you will have to run.
