Default AN-R.com Answer Please

I have been trying to get some feedback from you guys for over a month now. none of my e-mails have been returned. im guessing that something is wrong with the e-mail system or something? and your not getting them somehow?i hope this is the case, as ive heard nothing but praise for your customer service. anyway i got tired of trying to get ahold of someone and decided to just buy one and now i have to have a credit card, i was wondering if there was anyway i could pay by check?(if not i can work it out but that means the wife has to be involved )anyway i just want to know if the h22 street collector header will clear the stock prelude radiator in a 93 eg hatch, and i want to know if you want my money or not? Please answer soon . im sorry to call you out on the boards but i cant get ahold of you any other way, this is my last resort....thank you very much.............john

well if it was only a couple days ago they may be at sema? isnt that going on right now? but still i sent them an e-mail over a month ago but im just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, in thinking that perhaps they have tried to contact me, i'm in no way trying to bash their business. i think they make a great product and i have been anxious to try it out and im only trying to resolve this and get it over with, i have even offered to do a dyno comparo against my dc header for them and post it, since sooooooo many people seem to want a HARD number for the mysterious AN-R header. hopefully they will recieve this message and reply....or maybe im just a ******** and they dont want to do business with me, i dont know, please someone tell me if i am being a dick, and if i am i appologize. John

Same here, sent a few emails but no reply. They are sometimes helpful (got my header from them on time, and had some emails replied), but their customer service does seem to be pretty inconsistent at times.

They'll get to you. It only took me twice to get a response by e-mail, just keep trying.

We've had some email issues, can read them but can't send them out.
if you need to send us payment, just check my signature for name/addy.

Our h22 header will clear the stock prelude full size radiator (the header does not extend any further than the alternator). PM me if you have further questions. Thanks

I'd also like to tell everyone that Giang@AN-R.com has contacted me and has been very helpful, and willing to work with me on method of payment. He has also returned all of my e-mails very promptly and proffesionally, on top of answering every single one of my questions. Thank you everybody for reading, and I hope that this information has helped all of you realize that AN-R.com is a commendable company . We all know that E-mail and computers can be quirky some times, and I hope that my post in no way has tarnished their reputation. Thank you..............................John

here's a reply I got from them...regarding some questions I had...

We have to versions of our B-Series Header, Our standard version which extends to the radiator support bars will clear the stock chassis as long as you use the half size civic radiators. Our compact header will clear a full size integra radiator. As far as specs goes, the two headers share the same specs, only routed different to accommodate different setups.
We have sold the headers to various customers with various setup beginning from stock b16a motors all the way to full race setups. The header will not be "too much" for your stock bore itr motor. Although, you would see better gains if your setup has high compression piston and aggressive cams.
Our street collector is our "basis" collector design which unites the area where the four pipes meet with a plate. the merge collector, requires more labor time but incorporating a "peak" where the four pipes meet. this peak's spec varies from different fabricator and we have found the best angle for honda motors. The merge collector combines high flow and high velocity to increase and broaden an engine's torque curve all the way to horsepower peak and beyond.
As far as performance difference between the two collectors goes, the difference on a STOCK motor is only about 2whp difference, which is the reason why we normally recommend the street collector to most customers. Customers with high modified engine with high compression would benefit more from the merge collector, because you will see better hp figures in the high rpm range which would benefit you greatly on the dragstrip.
Keep in mind though that our street collector is a very well designed collector also and beat the majority of collectors currently on the market right now.

Giang
