Radiator for H22 swap.
For all you with H22a swaps in 92 - 95 hatchbacks, what kind of radiators you guys have? I have the stock civic one but i want to get a bigger one because it overheats too much. Also the headers stick out too far so i can't fix a radiator in there. just seeing what everybody else is doing about it...

i've used my stock one for about a year now, does'nt overheat or anything, check your waterpump. don't really need to upgrade unless your boosting.

My boy just got his car on the raod and he has a 93 hatch with an intergra front end on it so he uses the integra radiator, no problems as of yet.

I have another question too... for you guys with h22 swaps in eg hatches, you guys have a problem with the headers sticking out from under the car too far? Tell me what you guys do.

well the Prelude HEADER is a bit longer. so yes it does hang. make sure you dont have that much of a drop or you can really damage your header and oil pan.

yeah just remember that it hangs lower then normal. watch out for big dips, and bumps
BTW: delsol vtec rad. using it for 2 years now 0 problems...

so im guessing have 15" rota slips isn't going to help with the header problem in terms of how low the car is.

If you wanna replace your radiator and never have to worry about it again why don't you just drop in a Fluidyne? As for the clearance issues you're just going to have to take it easy, otherwise you could always have someone make a skidplate for underneath.
