Default Project Junkyard H22 EG hatch

Right now i'm planning a project, reading swap info and old topics as much as i can. I want to start it over the summer (I'm a high school student). I have some experience working on cars, i've been reading a lot about hondas, storage space and tools availiable, and my dad can help me out too. I have another car, so this wont be my daily driver until i am completely finished, and there won't be a need to get it done really fast. By that time I should have about $4000 saved up. If thats not enough i'll still have a job over the summer making a little less than 600 a month. I want to do this because I think it will be semi affordable and a good way to really get into mechanical stuff. The idea of swapping engines out of used cars, turning junk into a good product for minimal money just sounds really fun.

Plan so far:
find a EG hatch, with blown motor/no motor/lots of miles in the $500 range.

Engine: I'm not sure right now. I'm thinking a H22 engine, tranny, and axles out of a USDM prelude, possibly out of a junkyard. I know it'll need a tuneup after sitting so long, so i'll replace plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, all that stuff and get it compression and leakdown tested. Once its running good, start with intake, exhaust, and i've read they can take a 75 shot of nitrous. One of the things i wont be going cheap on is the fueling. I'm going to do bigger injectors, a walbro 255 fuel pump, FPR, and get it tuned, with some kind of fuel management like the SAFC or whatever its called. I dont really want to go with the SAFC because it only controls fuel, I want something that can adjust timing too. With the nitrous i'm going to retard the timing and get colder plugs to be safe. The only thing i'm worried about is the H22 swap being too hard. Would it be a better idea to go with a USDM integra GSR engine, with same mods as the H22? With good tires and suspension the h22 setup would probably run low-mid 13's, and since most of its extra power is from the nitrous it will still be very streetable. What would the GSR run with similar mods?

Suspension: I'd upgrade to something like H&R springs and i've heard of a strut thats pretty cheap and performs well, called the KYB or something like that.

Brake upgrade off a junkyard prelude or integra, not sure about this

I'll also get a nice set of 15' wheels and tires, i can pick those out later though. I'm also going to strip out most of the back, and get rid of power steering and AC (i might not have a choice with the engine swap, i'm not sure)

So is it a good plan? Any answers to the things i'm not sure about, inputs or suggestions are welcome

But I've had my h22 swap for years and love it. I'm currently redoing the whole car, but it will still retaing the h22

The one thing I can tell you about having a project car is that what ever set buddget you plan out, dubble or triple it.
