He's running a Canada Spec CX which is a USDM DX hatch.

I've seen some d15b7 hatches go 16's with some bolt-on's.

i've seen low 18's...if you put an EX/Si tranny on the CX, it will run mid 16's. The reason they are so slow is because of their ultra long transmission. The 70HP and 92 lb-ft are more than enough to get the 2094 lb CX around town in a lively manner, just honda figured that it needed to put the longest transmission ever on the car, so we were given the slow-*** CX.

speaking of cx trannies, are the 5th cx and 6th gen cx trannies any different? or are the gears pretty close to the same?

my old 94 cx used 2 quarts or more oil per tank of gas, it wouldnt of broke out of the 20's

ran my CX a few times in the track.. actually got to the 1/4 finals a few times. and once to the semi finals.. got a second place trophy!
