I agree if it was me I would keep the ls turbo. Type r has a lot of hype. Too much money for me, stay with what you got.

ITR motor wont keep up.
w/ my stock ls motor and my turbo setup ( i was runnin 10.5 psi),
I beat a jdm itr motor w/ a greddy kit (he was running 8 psi)...if that tells u anything

When vtec kicks in it's cool, when a turbo spools up hold on to your pants cuz your *** is going to be looking for the back of the seat. I have a JDM GSR with CTR cams, springs and full boltons, it's making more power than a stock type r and it's not enough by any means. Thats why I alredy have a 2.0l B18a waiting for an LS head and a fat turbo. Keep the ls.
an ITR is not about he engine, its about the entire car... some people think that just because the swapped in a B18c-R motor, that they now own an ITR...Not quite! The ITR is basically a whole different machine when it compares to something like an LS or GSR.
I am in no way saying that the ITR is better, but it is technologically more advanced. And you won't get that just from a swap.

That pretty much sums it up. If your after power the LS turbo is always gonna win. However if you want to ditch the turbo fun and go all motor, the itr swap is a nice step in the right direction. Although even then you could sell the turbo stuff, and make a ls/vtec. Hell turbo the ls/vtec!
