Stahl's at stop

Default Stahl's at stop

I have a 95 civic with Greddy turbo, my car idles low then turns off at a stop...sparatically not everytime or even everyday. If I turn my AC on the extra belt raises my RPM's and my car will stay on. Any ideas what it could be. Thanks guys.

could be lots of things. cloged cat or air filter maybe

mine did that after i installed my turbo w/ afc hack. i just readjusted my throttle cable and idle and all was fine.

isn't your idle computerized....so if I adjust my cable my computer will try to compensate for that and mess it all up correct or not?

I've got greddy turbo and I was having an idle problem where it would try to idle at 300-400 rpm. I had to drive with my headlights on to bump my idle up. It was an easy fix for me. I just screwed the bypass screw on the TB out 3/4 of a turn. I think it lets more air past the TB so the IACV doesn't have to work so hard when I come off throttle to modulate idle. My problem was mainly when I was coming off-throttle, or if I blipped the throttle after my car was fully warmed up the idle would drop way low and stay there for a second until the ecu idled it back up. Hope that helps.
