HOW MUCH transmission fluid in h22 tranny???

as topic says, i did search but nothing on h22 just want to know if its different and i want to do it today dont know how its gonna turn out first time but i know where to aim at but how much and when to stop is the issue what if i put too much?? is too much bad??
and what fluid should i go with ???

Your going to need a little more than 2 quarts, so buy 3. Honda MTF is what the Helms recommends, alot of ppl including myself use GM Synchromesh MTF (do a search for more info).
You cant over fill it because the drain plug is vertical, on the side of the tranny. And you fill it until it comes out the drain plug.
I also recommend that you pick up a gear oil pump so you can fill it up, since the drain plug is on the side.

i believe helms says 1.9 ....its pretty ez on the mt tranny just filll it up till it starts to pour outa the fill hole u can't over fill it

GM/Chevy dealer. Get the GM synchromesh friction modified. Part # 12377916 Its about $11. I hade a slight 5th gear grind and it went away when I used this oil.
