Default !!!!!!!!!!!! NEED HELP QUICK PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok,,,,,

I'm goin TOMMOROW and get one of TWO kits for my pretty much stock SOHC d16 Civic EX.....and well....i need some ADVICE on which to get...

They have the ZEX dry kit, installed for $600

and they have a Nitrous Express for $650...

So WHICH should i do? The money really doesn't matter, so which is best for my stock Civic? I asked, but they said you usually didn't have to retard the timing on Honda's, so i guess that'll be out of the question for now.

But PLEASE, someone that knows this stuff give me some advice on which to go with. I want the BEST performing one for my car. I'm not too sure on those Nitrous Express stage 1 kits, but they don't really have a digital mixer like those ZEX kits have do they? I'm a newbie, so I'm lost. Appreciate it ya'll!

If the NX kit is a wet one (fuel and nitrous), get that. If they're both dry, get the Zex and run it until you blow something up. They both come with good instructions, so you should be fine either way, but the Zex kit looks nicer

Yea the NX is a wet one, and the ZEX one is a dry one.

But i'm like you, i was just wondering if there was more to that ZEX one than the NX one. I know the ZEX kit comes with that lil' Regulator thing you gotta mount under your hood, so i thought it regulated it somehow. Does the NX come with one???

ALSO, you think wet will be a better package than the dry on my stock d16? THANX MAN!!!

Who is this kid and what's he doing on our forum? And why did you use a title of respect when asking me to **** myself? Madness.

Anyhow. To the poster of this thread, the wet shot will be more trouble to install, but it's a safer alternative than a dry shot and NX comes with plenty of cool stuff to keep your car safe. For the price you're looking at on the NX, you can get a Nitrous gauge and other things to compliment it, as well.

Hmm....

How much more trouble to install a wet kit is it? I might just buy a ZEX wet kit. I've found one online for $569.00 SHIPPED. So that'll work, plus NO tax. So you know....but i was just wondering if it'll be easy enough for myself to install? OR, should i just go with the NX wet, INSTALLED for $650 + TAX? I was also thinkin the ZEX wet kit might be better than the NX? That True?

In your situation, I'd go with the NX wet installed for $650+tax, honestly, because although I could do just as thorough a job as any shop, they'll go out of their way to hide/clean up wiring and if it kerplodes on me, they're to blame .
