Default Is the Brake Proportioning Valve called anything else?

Is it also known as the "4 way joint assy."? Is it within #28, specifically #30, in the schematic? Called two local Acura parts stores and they dont know what I'm talking about. I work in a parts dept. too and know what terminology to use.

Never heard it called by anything other than a prop valve.

That looks like a brake line setup with ABS. I don't think that has a prop valve.

What he said, you need the prop valve off a NON-ABS system. I'm assuming you are doing this for a rear disc conversion, you'll be wanting the 40/40.

Is it number 5 in this schematic? I know about the 40/40 nickname but the guys in the parts dept. have no idea what that means. This is from a 95 RS. That works right?

#5 looks like it could be it. I'd say go ahead and have them order it up for you, then check it for the 4040 stamp before paying. If it isnt the part, apologize and try again. FYI, you can get them for like 40-50 used, not sure what the stealership wants.

Thanks for the help. I will look for it used since cost plus 10% is still $105.00.
