Default milling question......tunners

my tunner say that my head and block are too much milled like 20 the head (gsr) and 20-25 the block due to over heating and usdm t.r. piston and my cam gears are not line up like stock and the car feels like crap , how can i fix my timing thanx in advance......

make sure that both your adj. cam gears are set at zero, then double check if it's on TDC, if not, line it up.. hope this helps...

when you mill a head and block you must account for the loss in material in order to get correct timing of the motor. I'm not sure but I think its 012" = 1 degree. so for every 12 thou your cams are retarded 1 degree. so it sounds like you need to advance your gears about 3-4 degrees each to get everything back in line. you can check everything with a timing gun to make sure.. HTH
