Default B18C Intake delema....

I've been running a CAI for the last 6 months and took out the filter a week ago to have alook at it and clean it...it was so caked in mud an **** that i decided to go with short ram for the winter. I'd forgotten how good the throttle response is with it. Now my delema is whether to keep the short ram or go back to CAI and put a shield over the filter to stop mud etc getting at it. I also have a jdm DC 4-1 header which does give good top end power, the short ram intake supposedly gives better low-mid power compared to better top end with the CAI. Would the short intake and 4-1 compliment each other or am i better swapping back to CAI? I'd love if i could have some sort of switch thingy to be able to switch between the 2 at the flick of a switch

i would stick with short ram for the rainy seasons and leave the CAI for the summer. look into comptech icebox which seems to be really popular for short rams.

i'm just using the upper section of the CAI and the same filetr so i cant sell it to you. Get one on ebay, theres a thread on the page before this about them, most people have had no problems with them just be sure to get a quality filter (K&N) to use with it as the k&n style ones supplied wouldnt inspire confidence in me
