Just installed an itr front swaybar and lower control arms on my EG, problem is my steering wheel isnt centered anymore after the install. Logic says my alignment shouldnt have changed because i didnt touch the tie rods. Can anyone offer some insight on this?
i have noticed that my wheel isnt centered either, is it a bad thing? cant u just take it off and rotate it on the splines till its aligned?
ur alignment is more prone to change whenever u touch any of ur suspension parts..playing with ur tie rods is equivalent to hitting a pot hole without the permanent damage to parts..ur misalign d steering wheel would suggest that the inner tie rod needs adjustment

yeah, i was.
do i need an alignment just because my wheel is crooked? i just recently got an alignment, so i thought maybve they left the wheel a little crooked by accident. kinda a noob at this alignment biz.

I tightened the endlinks with the car on jackstands and the wheels off. would this throw the alignment off?
so, if my steering wheel is crooked, is my alignment off? i know ur all thinking, "what a douchebag", but what if the guy i got my car aligned at left the wheel a little cocked? when i am going straight, the wheel doesnt shudder/shake, and it doesnt pull to one side, unless my azenis get a hold of a groove or dip in the road.
if your wheel isnt straight you need to take it back to the place you got it aligned, they are supposed to fix that when they align it. and always get your car aligned after any suspension modifactions.
